Saw this in M. Bricolage which may be a good way to take heat from the chimney of the new fire to warm other rooms - more investigation needed.

Doors fitted

Both doors made and fitted in a new frame on the forge - just need painting now!

First new door made to replace the rotten ones on the forge

New fire installed and heating the house.

Convoluted pipework

At least it stopped the leak! Only had elbow joints to fix the leaking pipe with.

Etap Hotel

Quick overnight stop at the Etap hotel in Honfleur.

Kiev flat

The apartment I have been staying in this weekend. One bed, one chair, one TV! There was also a separate kitchen area and a bathroom

Money and taste!

A modified Porsche Cayenne I spotted parked in Kiev. No comment about the taste of the person it belongs too!!

I think this is one of the government buildings on the main street (Khreschatyk) in Kiev.

The arch in Kiev which used to symbolise the link between Russia and Ukraine - now it just looks good when lit up at night! (It may be more than that, but I am not sure)

Bad tiling!

The tile I replaced recently has not stuck to the floor, or at least, the cement didn't.

Aerial

Fitted new aerials to Sam's and Lisa's cars so their cars should sound good inside.

Mill Race

Went to the Mill Race organic restaurant in Leeds for a meal. Very good food and value with the early bird pricing.

Manchester

Back in Manchester for teaching again. This is Beetham Tower on Deansgate taken from the car park I use.
