Really nice crisp and clear (and cold) morning for an enjoyable dog walk.

Suzy's birthday today, we had a wet walk and went to the cinema to see Harry Potter.

Last night of the tree

I guess tomorrow will be the day to take Christmas down so here are the living room decorations.

Happy New Year

Sorted the New Year cards we are sending having not received the Christmas cards we ordered in time to get them to people. Just got to put these on envelopes now!

Balancing act

I made this balance board for Sam today - apparently it should make her a better actress. Hope it also brings lots of success!

Walking on water

The sign said no swimming but it didn't say anything about not skating! Still very thick ice even after a few days above freezing temperatures.

Stiill cold

It is still nice and frosty, -10c according to the weather widget on my phone, which does mean that the views are great on the clear frosty mornings.

Snow going

I haven't posted for ages but thought I would add this picture before this lot of snow all goes.

The first cut

Not likely to be the deepest, but the first time for cutting the grass this year.

Saw this pick-up truck with an unusual paint job in Halfords car park. Would need regular cleaning for best effect.
